Family Portrait Sessions are fun and relaxed captured either in the comfort of your home, or another location in Halifax, Nova Scotia or surrounding area. Let's celebrate the people you love most in beautiful, natural locations.
Sessions are $450 plus tax, included is one hour of time and 50+ edited images delivered via an online downloadable gallery. Includes the Family Photography Guide (outfit tips, locations, how to prepare for your session, and more.)
Travel fees may apply for those outside of HRM.

Do you offer guidance on posing and what to do during the session?
Yes, I’ll provide gentle guidance throughout the session to create natural and flattering poses that reflect your family’s personality.
Can we bring props or include a pet in our session?
Absolutely! Props can add a personal touch to your photos, and pets are welcome as they are part of the family.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
In the event of inclement weather, we can reschedule to the next available date that suits both parties.
How will I receive my gallery?
Once edited your high-resolution digital images will be made available in a beautifully designed online client gallery, from which you can download, share, and print effortlessly.
How do we choose a location?
Don't worry! I've got you covered. I will provide you with a Family Photography Guide after booking, which suggests various locations from Halifax to Annapolis Valley and surrounding.
What should we wear?
This can be found in my Family Photography Guide. There are suggestions on palettes, textures and outfit ideas to help you determine what to wear. I am always open to answer any questions or help you decide.
How long will it take to receive my edited photos?
Typically I average a 2-4 week turnaround time for the completion of edited online galleries.
Do you offer extended family photos?
Yes - the family session package allows for extended family sessions, with an additional charge of $25 per person after the initial inclusion of six people.
